Emily Larsen Moore
Hello! I'm looking forward to teaching and getting to know my students for the 2017-2018 school year. I have 2 girls: Vivian and Ella. Vivian is almost 5 and Ella is 3.
I am originally from South Dakota, and have also lived in Missouri, New Hampshire, Maine, California and even Australia. I currently live in Tempe and have been an Arizona resident for 14 years.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree (Major 1: Biology with a concentration in Environmental Science; Major 2: Environmental Policy) from Colby College in 1998. I spent my junior year abroad in Queensland, Australia where I studied Marine Biology at James Cook University. I completed my Arizona teacher’s certification courses and earned my certification in May 2011.
I completed my first year of teaching at Coolidge High School in Coolidge, AZ and have been with AAEC South Mountain since December 2009. I’m very excited to be teaching at AAEC and am looking forward to the coming school year!
I look forward to hearing from both students and parents, so please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments or concerns. The best way to reach me is through email, but you are more than welcome to call or stop by when classes are over.
